Academic Bank of Credit

The choice-based credit system (CBCS) for all programmes is fully implemented beginning with the 2019-20 academic year, in accordance with UGC and SPPU, Pune standards. Being an affiliated college, HEI follows the CBCS system and the university has a depository for credits in the form of ABC. HEI couldn’t register as an affiliated college for the ABC on National Academic Depository (NAD). When an HEI achieves the status of an autonomous institute, it will register for ABC. SPPU recently (15.10.2022) instructed with a mandate for students to create an ABC id by registering at http://abc.gov.in/ to store the academic credits earned by students from HEIs digitally. This allows students to choose their own learning routes to obtain a degree/diploma/certificate in a context with various entry and exit points as well as learning at any time, anywhere, and at any level. Students have now registered with ABC id. The institute is registered as SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter (3937), and students are encouraged to join various courses given by recognised institutes to obtain credits.
