The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in India launched Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality assurance program to encourage excellence and ongoing progress in higher education. As per NAAC recommendation every accredited institute should establish IQAC as a quality sustenance measure. Taking this into consideration, Annasaheb Awate Arts, Commerce & Hutatma Babu Genu Science College, Manchar has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with a goal to enhance both the general institutional performance and the quality of education.

• To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
Functioning of IQAC:
Following activities are carried out by IQAC:
• To define the agenda and calling meetings
• To prepare the Perspective and Strategic Plan of the Institute.
• To prepare the SOP’s of various activities to be implemented by IQAC.
• To represent and propose the various requirement for smooth functioning of the institute in CDC meeting if required.
• The prepare Action Taken Report.
• To develop, recording, monitoring quality measures in the institution
• To develop and apply quality parameters for various academic and research activities.
• To disseminate the information on quality aspects.
• To organize quality initiatives for enhancing quality circles.
• To work as a Nodal agency for quality maintenance and control.
• To submit Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) or other essential reports on timely basis.
